Mercy House is a care home for those experiencing end-of-life and are needing a place to reside to receive hospice services. We provide a home, three meals per day, 24/7 supervision and care, and companionship through staff and volunteers. Mercy House partners with local hospice agencies who provide professional, end-of-life care.

In 2025, Mercy House began offering an additional service. We work directly with Bethel Shelters and The Cottage in Rock Hill to offer short-term (1-7 days) recuperative care to their shelter guests. Many guests who come through the day and night shelters have acute medical challenges that would be greatly improved by a few days and nights in a quiet, safe place. For instance, if a shelter guest is discharged from the hospital after a stay and needs a few days more of recuperative care before returning to the shelter system, our shelter partners may refer them to Mercy House. We’ll receive them, care for meals and offer hospitality, as well as be a place where home healthcare professionals may visit for treatment or therapies.
